By accessing or using the Nyansafo platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Service.

We reserve the right to update and change these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the Service following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

2. Description of Service

Nyansafo provides an AI-powered educational platform designed for African students, including:

  • Interactive learning content and curriculum materials
  • Practice questions and past examination papers
  • AI-powered tutoring and explanations
  • Progress tracking and analytics
  • Study groups and collaborative learning features
  • Gamification elements including points, badges, and leaderboards

3. User Accounts

To access certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
  • Maintain the security of your password and account
  • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

Users under 18 years of age must have parental or guardian consent to use the Service.

4. Subscription and Payments

Nyansafo offers both free and premium subscription plans. For premium subscriptions:

  • Payment is required in advance for the subscription period
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date
  • Prices may change with 30 days notice to existing subscribers
  • Refunds are available within 30 days of purchase as per our refund policy

5. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Share your account credentials with others
  • Attempt to access accounts belonging to others
  • Upload harmful content, viruses, or malicious code
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other users
  • Infringe on intellectual property rights
  • Use automated systems to access the Service without permission
  • Attempt to reverse engineer any part of the Service

6. Intellectual Property

All content on the Nyansafo platform, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, audio, video, and software, is the property of Nyansafo or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our Service or included content without our explicit written permission.

7. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using our Service, you consent to our collection and use of data as described in the Privacy Policy.

8. Content Guidelines

Users may submit content to certain parts of the Service (such as study groups). You retain ownership of your content but grant Nyansafo a non-exclusive, worldwide license to use, display, and distribute your content within the Service.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Nyansafo shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service at our sole discretion, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ghana. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Ghana.
